He is amazing!!! I have had several different treatments with Dr. Doherty and have been 100% satisfied with all of them. I was bothered by some fullness in my neck and he recommended kybella. The results are incredible!!!! My neck and jawline have never looked so defined and tight. I will absolutely be back for other treatments. I recommend Dr. Doherty to everyone

Dr. Doherty recently performed a breast reduction and I wouldn’t trust any other doctor. From the moment I stepped into his office for my first consultation to now, Dr. Doherty has exhibited nothing but honesty and compassion and is a true artist! I lived my entire life hating my large breasts, buying bra’s, tops and bathing suits was a nightmare! Now, I wake up everyday with happy with my breast size and feel so much more comfortable. Dr. Doherty’s is kind, thoughtful, and skilled. He spent a lot of time with me, explaining the surgery and what to expect. He was there for me the whole recovery period (even after I couldn’t stop crying from anesthesia), anytime I called or emailed, he got back to me immediately. He is one of a kind!

Before meeting with Dr. Doherty I was impressed with his credentials. At my consultation I was immediately taken by Dr. Doherty’s warmth, kindness, sense of humor, and his way of explaining the most balanced and artistic way of achieving my desires. He is a wonderful listener and communicator and I cannot wait to undergo my Profound radio frequency / microneedling procedure with him in less than a month. In addition, his office setting is warm and professional and his staff are all the same.

If I could give Dr. Doherty 10 stars I would, but this rating system stops at 5, so I am frustrated on how to convey just how great a Dr. and person he is. Therefore, I only have my words to help distinguish what this rating system cannot do. Not only does Dr. Doherty provide expert and compassionate care for his patients, but also works to advance medical technologies, contributes to peer reviewed medical journals, and educates his fellow colleagues. It only takes one look at his resume to see what I am saying. In my opinion, a Dr. who is interested in the advancement of his field, is someone who (himself) is interested in becoming a better Dr. As a very sensitive person, Dr. Doherty goes the extra mile to accommodate my needs. He has trained with the best, and I trust him implicitly with my health and well being. If you are looking for a plastic surgeon, there is no reason to look further, your not going to find a more committed professional elsewhere.

Dr. Doherty is AMAZING! Honestly! I met a pharmaceutical rep a few years ago and she told me the only person she would let inject her or anything else regarding plastic surgery is Dr. Sean Doherty. I looked at her and I couldn’t believe anyone had done anything to her face. Completely natural and looked 10 years younger! (She had volunteered her age.) She is now in California and yes… comes back to see him. I immediately set up a consultation appointment and I feel the same way she does. He has stopped time me and many other people without… looking like you have done anything. His first concern is always his patients and really understanding what they are looking to do. Not to mention he is a great guy! Bonus!

I found Dr. Doherty to be so warm and calming at my consult in his boston office with him. His knowledge and easy explanatory demeanor was so comforting. He took great care that I understood everything about the type of breast augmentation that he would do for me. After the surgery, he was equally as available to talk with me whenever I needed. The breast augmentation was a major success, I could not be happier with the result. My breasts are exactly what I had envisioned and what he and I discussed. I can’t say enough about the perfect surgical work – I feel so natural and beautiful by the work he did for me. I will definitely be having future surgeries with Dr. Doherty.

As a 33 year-old male, it can be embarrassing to have a problem with enlarged breasts. This was my 2nd Gynecomastia surgery. The first was at age 30, and it was performed by a different doctor. After the first surgery, I was pleased with the results, however, the issue returned and I didn’t totally feel at home with the doctor. The doctor that had performed surgery #1 was a nice guy, but I didn’t always feel comfortable with his bedside manner and his responses to my questions. When the gynecomastia issue returned 2-3 years later (to the point where I was no longer comfortable going out unless I had a compression tee on), I knew I needed to address the situation. I was hesitant at first, because I didn’t want to use the same doctor as before, so I decided to do a fair share of research. I came across Dr. Doherty’s name. After carefully looking at his reviews, I decided to make an appointment to see him. No B/S, he made me feel 100% comfortable about my concerns in the first 5 minutes of meeting him. He noticed right away that there was a good amount of breast tissue in both of my pecs, and together we decided that surgery was the best option for the results I was looking for. I just wanted to have a normal looking chest again and be able to wear a tank top or a tight tee, and not have to worry that everyone under the sun was staring at my chest. Prior to surgery, we met to discuss the operation. Dr. Doherty couldn’t have been any kinder. We exchanged emails & phone calls, and he was very quick to respond to any of my questions or concerns. On surgery day, the Doctor assured me that everything would be fine, and of course, it was. He kept in constant contact with me post-surgery to ensure I was healing okay, and we met every few weeks as well. It’s been about 3 and 1/2 months since surgery and I feel amazing. I have no stress or anxiety about having my shirt off anymore. I’ve finally been able to get back to the gym and haven’t had any issue from the procedure. The normal bruising and soreness didn’t last very long. I had to wear a compression vest for a few weeks, but it was easy to get used to. If you’re a guy and have similar concerns as I did, I highly recommend looking into this procedure. It costs nothing to make a consultation appointment, and I guarantee you won’t regret it.

Dr. Doherty performed my breast replacements and I am very happy with the results. After having saline implants for the last 20 years, Dr. Doherty replaced them with silicone and I look amazing and I feel great! The staff made me feel super comfortable. Dr. Doherty is an honest professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Doherty.

My overall experience with Dr. Doherty was extremely pleasant and professional. He actually LISTENED to me and my needs. After several discussions and careful review of what I wanted, we decided on the lipo-suction in the abdomen area. This, by far, was the best decision for me and the surgery went great, he was always asking how I was feeling to make sure I was ok. He followed up several times over the phone and was genuinely concerned about my overall well being. But be clear, this is NOT a replacement for diet and exercise. You still need to do these things to maintain a healthy life style. I simply wanted less fat around my middle area and we accomplished this. I am happy with my decision and the results.
